The word “patch” carries many meanings. A patch is a visual declaration of personal success, pride, loyalty, bravery, and service. It is an identification. It is also used to cover and protect a wound, allowing it to heal. Patches strengthen material that has weakened with wear and tear. A patch can even signify a period of time, hence a “rough” patch.

We believe that struggling with drugs or alcohol does not define who you are as a person. Substance use disorder is not the end; it’s a rough patch. It is only one chapter in a much larger story: your story.

If you or a fellow emergency first responder is struggling with a substance use disorder, the P.A.T.C.H. Program offers a safe environment for you and your brothers to heal and strengthen.

About the P.A.T.C.H. Program

The treatment professionals here in the P.A.T.C.H. program understand the uniquely stressful nature of first-responder and military missions and the workplace cultures that develop as a result. We hold an immeasurable amount of respect for you and the core values of your missions. As such, it is our goal to match those same values in our program. We want and expect positive, long-term results when you commit to the P.A.T.C.H. Program— every time.

The P.A.T.C.H. Program:
Practical and Tactical Clinical Healing

Where Practical Care is Data-driven

Our program is not based on ideals. A philosophy of treatment based solely on ideals can get in the way of true and pure recovery. Instead, the foundation of the P.A.T.C.H. program is:

  • reliable
  • hands-on
  • field-tested
  • experience-based

Most importantly, our proven methods of addiction treatment employ a committed, data-driven approach.

In the P.A.T.C.H. program, we implement unbiased criteria directly from scientifically reliable assessments to evaluate both the success of our interventions and your progress in the program. These bi-weekly assessments allow us to make any necessary adjustments to your individualized recovery process as the program continues. Remember, mental health and healing do not need to be complex concepts. They should be easy to verify and understand.

Where Tactical Care is Strategic

The healthcare professionals behind the P.A.T.C.H. program have carefully designed it for first responders and other emergency personnel, like:

  • Firefighters
  • Law Enforcement officers
  • U.S. Armed Forces officers
  • Emergency dispatchers
  • Corrections officers
  • Emergency Medical Services (E.M.S.) personnel

Through this specialized program, everyday American heroes like you can successfully combat substance use disorder and improve your overall mental wellness. We plan every detail— from intake to aftercare— to ensure the highest possible chance of a successful, long-term recovery. In other words, the care we offer is as tactical and strategic as it is practical.

Where Clinical Excellence is Guaranteed

Superb clinical care is the foundation of the P.A.T.C.H program. It is also what distinguishes us from other treatment models. In fact, the clinicians on our team are veterans in their own right; many of them have been treading through the trenches of the addiction treatment industry for decades!

Addiction wages war within the body. The maladaptive behaviors that drive substance use disorder have underlying psychological causes that can be difficult to face alone. It takes both bravery and support to get and stay sober, and our seasoned team of clinical professionals has helped hundreds achieve recovery after years of substance dependency.

The P.A.T.C.H. program was designed to help American heroes combat their struggles at the source. Our mission is to guide you; to help you fight out your inner battles in a safe, secure environment. We are here for you. Our Clinical Excellence is Guaranteed.

Where Healing Promotes Recovery, Rediscovery, and Growth

Your struggles do not define who you are. This patch of time is just one part of your story. With the P.A.T.C.H program, your hard work, determination, and courage can restore your long-term physical and mental health. Our goal is to see you return to duty and, eventually, enjoy a fulfilling retirement with your loved ones.

You must insist on the best in recovery care.

We must deliver it.

In the P.A.T.C.H. program, our goal is to deliver the best possible care to our first responders who struggle with the life-threatening disease of addiction. Recovery is our philosophy— we believe that with the right care and support, anyone can recover from addiction.

When we call 911, we hope to get the best possible care when first responders arrive. We hope to feel safe. Now first responders and other emergency personnel can expect the best care and safety in the P.A.T.C.H. program.
