Barbara Brockmeier

Vice President, Clinical Services

Barbara Brockmeier is the Vice President of Clinical Services for Elan Recovery + Wellness. Ms. Brockmeier has over 17 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient program development and social services, making her an instrumental force in the strategic plans and operational successes of private and nonprofit organizations alike. 

Her effective leadership and clinical knowledge of evidence-based practices has provided her with a reputation for motivating staff to achieve their highest potential and has helped previous facilities she has worked with receive and maintain the highest standards of their CARF and JCAHO accreditations, in addition to securing DCF/SAMH licensure and audit compliance.

Ms. Brockmeier has a successful and proven work history of leading program development for chemical dependency and co-occurring treatment programs. She has been responsible for managing and directing all aspects of the operations of a dual diagnosis residential treatment facility, where she also mentored and developed staff in evidenced based co-occurring treatment practices.

Furthermore, she was part of a pioneering team selected to direct a privatized community oversight approach to the delivery of Florida’s Substance Abuse and Mental Health services. As Director of Clinical Quality Improvement for one of Florida’s nine Managing Entities, she was responsible for identifying and implementing process change through provider network contracts and clinical support.

Ms. Brockmeier earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, with a dual concentration in Mental Health Administration and Interpersonal Practice. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Clinical Supervisor in Florida.
